Web Marketing Strategy#9: Social Media For Your Home Internet Business Opportunity

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Social Media as a web marketing strategy is all about building trust and relationships with your potential business partners.  Social Media is great vehicle which allows your prospects the opportunity to get to know you on a personal level without any sales pressure.  Potential business partners are given the opportunity to observe you without feeling obligated to joining your home internet business opportunity.  YouTube have all types of video that may be viewed but amazingly producing a perfect video is not required.  The desire of the viewer to connect with you on a personal level far outweighs perfection in the actual video.

As I write this post there are two Social Media sites in the Top 10 on Alexa Facebook (#2) and YouTube (#3).   MySpace (#18) and Twitter (#12) have slowly crept out of the Top 10 which warrant the question is Social Media a fad?    The vast amount of people using Social Media on a daily basis suggests that it is not a fad.  Facebook is a great way to generate leads for your home internet business opportunity.  Youtube is a great way to integrate video into your web marketing strategies.

YouTube is a great media where potential business partners have the opportunity to see you as a person.  The video should be a natural video where perfection is not necessary.  Your partners are looking for an expert that have similar background and is like them to a certain degree.  Facebook allows your potential business partners to see you as an individual with the groups you are associated, your profile, friends, etc.  Social Media lets them watch you and your actions from afar without having to commit to your home internet business opportunity.

Web marketing strategy using Social Media is very necessary in getting your online business to the next level.  When I sold a home care system door to door many years ago the product I sold was great but until my prospect trusted me no sale was ever made.  I had a very short time in the sale process to get them to purchase my product.  I had one chance and no other opportunity to make the sale. Social Media provide you the opportunity to attract potential business partners over an indefinite amount of time.

Discovery Series: #1 Key to the Law of Attraction is Matching Vibration

Monday, December 14th, 2009

The Luminaries on the Discovery Series by Life Path Unlimited discusses The Law of Attraction in depth on the path to Attraction.  I gained some insightful and definitive information that have led to a better understanding of this law.   Micheal Losier, Author of “Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t” states that the key ingredient to the Law of Attraction is matching vibrations.  Attracting more of what you want may be achieved by sending out vibes and statements into the universe attesting that fact.  Law of Attraction states that if you want positive results, then you must send out positive vibes.

Micheal Losier gives an example of people on a line trying to buy lottery tickets; everyone on line wants to win the lotto. These potential lotto winners are giving attention, energy and focus on the possibility of winning the lotto.  The Law of Attraction does not know if the vibes is negative or positive, it just match vibration.  Some of these lotto players while on line are thinking about reasons while they will not win. Everyone will not win the lotto visualizing yourself winning will work more in your favor.  The action of purchasing the lottery ticket is definitely required to have the opportunity to win the lottery.  They are many people who want to win the lottery, but never purchase a ticket.

The Law of Attraction as an entity by itself will never let you achieve success.  The Law of Attraction is useless without action because knowledge is not power but the application of knowledge in the right sequence is power. The people who use this law without action are just spinning their wheels.  The Law of Attraction is always trying to match your vibes so achieving the proper mindset is a major determining factor in getting this law to work for you.

Web Marketing Strategy #8: Pay Per Click Marketing For Your Home Internet Business Opportunity

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

Pay Per Click (PPC) is the most popular lead generation method used by most internet marketer. The goal of PPC marketing is to capture your prospect contact information initially.  Once a prospect opts in to your marketing list then you may start to build a relationship through personal contact or auto responder. The way you set up your PPC campaign is the single most determining factor in whether your results are futile or not.

PPC may also be the most expensive marketing strategy if done incorrectly. Google can go through a $5,000 credit card in about one hour whether it is a good or bad campaign.  Google is not concern with whether your campaign works as long as the information seeker clicks on your ads.  The amazing part is that your $5,000 might not net you any leads at all.  The effectiveness of your PPC campaign to produce targeted leads is dependent on a number of factors.

Google’s campaigns tend to be more expensive while campaigns on Yahoo and MSN tend to be more inexpensive.  The most critical initial step is determining your target market. Your target market will determine all of your web marketing strategies whether you are using PPC, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or any other marketing tactics. Research the keywords that you will bid on for your campaign.

You must think carefully about your marketing budget and how much you are willing to pay for a click.  The minimum is always the easier to figure because everyone would love to pay the least amount as possible for a click.  Your maximum that you would be willing to pay is critical especially the more competitive the keyword.  The ultimate goal is to be on page one of Google, Yahoo or MSN.    Impressions are how many times your ad is seen which is determined by a number of factors such as bidding the right amount, writing a good ad that is relevant to your keywords and page.

The foundation of your marketing is built on your target market and knowing what they are looking for. The better you are at getting into the mind set of your target market the greater chance that your campaign will succeed.  PPC as a web marketing strategy will help you generate some targeted leads to your website.  It is an art to getting the right people to click your ad, one of the best resources to learn advance PPC is Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to
Google Adwords.
